Carson grawunder - golf athlete of the year 2024
Carson Grawunder - Wayland Baptist University
Grawunder won the 2023 Coors Tournament of Champions in August with an exciting four-hole playoff victory over Drew Baccus. He shot a final round seven-under 65 at Ross Rogers Mustang - birdying the final three holes to force the playoff. Grawunder and Baccus would go on to play the longest playoff in Tournament of Champions history. Grawunder became the first golfer from Vega to ever win the TOC. He would go on to lead his team at Wayland Baptist to a second place finish in the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament and a #7 national ranking in the NAIA Coaches Top 25 poll.
