Why Honored: Coach David Quirino led the Randall High School wrestling team to its second consecutive Class 5A state championship, finishing the 2024 season with a dominant 139.5 points, 56 points ahead of runner-up Cedar Park. Randall crowned two individual state champions and won every medal match they competed in at the state meet. The team also secured key wins in the backside semifinals, contributing to one of the most complete and commanding team performances of the tournament.
Under Quirino’s leadership, Randall continues to be a powerhouse in Texas wrestling. The back-to-back titles highlight not just top-tier individual performances but also the overall depth and consistency of the program.
